1-day field tests

1-day field tests take place along with the saddle gradings in June and August and give the mares with only an exterior evaluation a possibility to obtain an "R" to her grading classification.

Consequently, if your mare has not already been graded by a DWB judging commission, she cannot enter a 1-day field test. A good possiblity for such a mare would be to enter a saddle grading instead.

1-day field test - jumping disciplin
* Free-jumping in in-door school (find the sketch of the free-jumping of mares here.)
* The mare is ridden by own rider in 5 minutes and then by test rider in 5 minutes on out-door arena.

1-day field test - dressage discipline:
* The mare is ridden by own rider in 5 minutes and then by test rider in 5 minutes on out-door arena.

After each heat of mares the show office calculates the many score totals and the mares are called into the arena to receive their test total. The mares get a ribbon if they passed the test.
